Garden Tour Neighbor

This little ditty won an honorable mention at the North Carolina Azalea Festival Garden Tour paint-out. The light was beautiful as I peaked in a neighboring yard not on the tour. I painted under a large American Elm that survived the Dutch Elm disease decades ago. The painting was purchased by the owner who had no idea I had created a painting of her beautiful home. How's that for synchronicity! I think I'll paint a larger version soon.
